THE EUGENE Studio『1/2 Century later.』

“1/2 Century later.” Is an exhibition of THE EUGENE Studio, which based in Japan, making installations, graphics, and video works. He has worked extensively in Japan and abroad, working on projects at Serpentine Gallery in London in the past, and in recent years has been invited to collaborate with an American novelist Ken Liu and collaborative research in the fields of artificial intelligence, urban and biotechnology.
In the exhibition, with the motif of “1968,” when “half a century” will pass by the end of the exhibition period, and the movie “2001 A Space Odyssey” and the novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” was released, An unpublished installation themed “Half a century from then(or half a century from now)” will be on display. At the venue, a group of works reflecting the future will be arranged around a large glass installation with the motif of “the heritage of the future image drawn in the past story”.
